Hi, I'm Wissam Cherifi — a fashion illustrator, designer, and educator based in Algeria.Drawing has been part of me for as long as I can remember, long before I knew what it meant to be an artist.
My Story
Drawing has been part of me since childhood — but alongside it, I had another instinct just as deep: a love for repurposing things and making them with my own hands. For years I drew and experimented quietly, stepped away during my studies, and returned to both in 2023 — this time with intention, building not just a skill in drawing, but an artist's eye for turning discarded materials into something new.
How It Started
Fashion, to me, is an open world with no limits on creativity. Clothing expresses identity and mood; discarded materials hold the same potential — everything is capable of becoming something else. My style leans toward elegance and realism, with close attention to light, shadow, and how it interacts with fabric and material.
